Meet Spencer

Since elementary school, I've always been creative and artistic. My mother noticed my talent long ago but I was too busy trying to be a football and baseball star. In 2008, I picked up the camera ... and I haven't put it down since. I'm always looking for a creative way to compose an ordinary shot and make it extraordinary. I think I've found my calling. I am a photographer based out of the Washington DC metro area.  In 2008, I started the company Memories of Bliss Photography, where our primary focus was photographing weddings and families. Since then, we have expanded our range to include headshot and branding imagery.

I enjoy making my clients look confident and poised while still coming across as friendly and approachable.  I do this by focusing on their expressions and lighting them so that the end result is flattering. 

People often tell me they’re not photogenic and I love proving to them that they are. My job is to direct and coach our clients into looking their best. Putting them at ease while we work on the subtle movements of their facial muscles. It is these subtleties and attention to detail that can make a headshot go from something ordinary to something spectacular.

When it comes to headshots, I create modern professional headshots for working professionals, students, and aspiring actors. Your first impression can be the difference between getting the job and getting passed over. Many people feel they are not photogenic. I have discovered the secret to helping people look their best in their corporate headshot photos. Not only will you be coached throughout the process by one of the best headshot photographers in the Washington, DC area, but you’ll also be able to review your images in real-time to assure that you will leave our studio with a great headshot.
